Project Details
Description
AVNP was a consortium project sponsored by SEEDA/DTI. The project was carried out during 2006-2010 aiming develop a group of nano particles which can kill bird flu viruses by contact.
Key findings
4 different sets of the AVNP were developed through a combination of 6-10 elements in each of the formulations or even in each nano particles. These groups of nano particles possess capability of killing viruses such as flu viruses (SARS, H5N1, H1N1), norovirus and some other viruses.
Meanwhile their killing capabilities towards bacterial such as the Eco-li and MRSA are extremely brilliant, they are 10-40 times better than that of normal nano Ag particles.
