The National Priorities Programme for Adult Social Work and Care is an Applied Research Collaborations (ARCs) funded by the National Institute of Health and Care Research (NIHR). The aim of the National Priorities Programme of Adult Social Care and Social Work is to support and stimulate the implementation of evidence-based service change at national and/or regional level in adult social care and social work, as identified by care users and carers, practitioners, professions, researchers and the wider public.
Kent Surrey and Sussex ARC (ARC KSS) is leading the National Priorities Collaboration on Social Care and Social Work in which there are four different priority programmes of research. Kathryn Almack is leading work on one: Digital technologies to support well-being of community dwelling older adults in receipt of social care and their carers (the DiTSoW study) and Alison Tingle is the Research Fellow.
