Tasks:
Lead the preparation of the outline of the background paper.
Lead the writing of a brief and critical review of the econometric and qualitative literature on trends of financial sector development and financdialization and their drivers, in developed and devloping countries.
Contribute to the empirical analysis by providing an assessment of the imapct of financialization across countries.
Lead the writing of national and global policy options to enhance the effectiveness of the financial sector in mediating investment into sustainable industrialization and other SDGs.
Provide input to and comments on a concise and technically sound overview of the background paper for a non-specialist reader using language accesible to policymakers, diplomats and other relevant stakeholders.
