Description
This project aims to develop a disruptive platform technology using bacteriophages to actively prevent medical device and implant infections. In collaboration with Oxford Silk Phage Technologies Ltd and University of Exeter, University of Hertfordshire will isolate and characterise Staphylococcal phages, test their therapeutic efficacy in ex vivo skin models, and optimise phage production systems.
