Basel 3 LCR Reporting & Analytics Data Transformation

The LCR work package involved several activities, and as a project manager of the workstream Enhancing the Reporting and Monitoring Capabilities, I had to face uncertainties and unpredictability. Our team had to establish new reporting infrastructure that could efficiently capture and process the data requested by regulators, enhance reporting and monitoring capabilities, including liquidity stress testing and scenario analysis.

One of the significant challenges I faced was dealing with conflicting objectives among stakeholders. Some stakeholders were focused on the short-term compliance goals, while others were more concerned about the long-term impacts on the bank's business model and profitability. I had to balance these competing interests, which required effective communication and negotiation skills.
