Description
“Blinded by the Light” is a collaboration between CA, SPECS, Hertford Astronomy Group and QED, a renowned provider of large-scale video and projection, aiming to highlight Hertfordshire researchers' pivotal role in discovering numerous exoplanet systems. Together we will create an immersive installation, inviting visitors to step into a lightfast viewing booth. Inside, they’ll be enveloped by intense otherworldly light offering a visceral encounter with the 'sunlight' of alien worlds. This experience will simulate the sensations of standing on exoplanets orbiting stars with distinct spectroscopic signatures, providing a captivating glimpse into the diversity of our universe's landscapes.
