Books Up Close: The Podcast

The Books Up Close podcast is a show that interviews novelists, poets, playwrights, memoirists, and other authors about their writing practice. Building on the BUC YouTube channel, in which I review books for a general audience, this podcast will take listeners outside the university into the world of creative writing and literature. In around thirty minutes, episode will home in on an author’s writing practice (how and when) as well as their literary concerns. We will ‘closely read’ a passage or part of their latest book together and show how it works ‘up close’.
