Description
Pilot study and evaluation of a Carer Support Nurse (Band 7) hosted by East Coast Community Healthcare (ECCH) within the Primary Home Care Team for 12 months.
Aim: To explore the value and impact of a stakeholder-optimised pilot Carer Support Nurse role
Objectives (O)
O1) Establish a stakeholder-operationalised model for the pilot Carer Support Nurse role
O2) Explore implementation strategies for the Carer Support Nurse role
O3) Determine acceptability and feasibility of the Carer Support Nurse role
O4) Explore the impact of the pilot Carer Support Nurse role (from multi-perspectives)
O5) Explore resource and cost implications of the CSN role
O6) Establish stakeholder-informed recommendations for the Carer Support Nurse role (to inform sustainability)
