Co-Producing Art, Co-Producing Futures: Evaluating the Impact of Participatory Performative Arts in Post-War Kosovo

Project: Research

Project Details

Description

Art is imbued with transformative potential. It can help foster reconciliation by building solidarity in divided communities. However, little is known about the impact of research that asks participants to create art. This project examines this by bringing together professionals from different artistic fields and ethnicities in Kosovo and Serbia to collaborate in a workshop. This workshop would be used to plan an immersive and interactive performance art installation; an idea that emerged from a previous workshop with the same individuals. This allows the project to track research impact over time and builds a foundation for future work.
