Project Details

Description

This project will develop new educational/ training impact on intergenerationality, arising from emerging research findings in the ESRC-funded IncludeAge project. This IAA award will co-produce three workshops for trainee health and educational professionals at UH to establish the effectiveness of creating age-friendly intergenerational toolboxes for enhancing inclusion for LGBTQ+ people in health and educational settings. The project aims to evaluate increases in confidence among trainee professionals to engage in age-friendly intergenerational conversations and perspective-taking, particularly when engaging with LGBTQ+ people who are often excluded in health and educational systems. In a future bid, we hope to roll-out the workshops on a larger scale through the universities involved in IncludeAge.
