Project Details

Description

Every autumn and winter many patients fall ill with influenza and get hospitalized. This cause pressure on hospital. It is not yet known whether COVID-19 will peak at the same time as influenza or not. If Both viruses will be circulating at the same time, this may result in even greater pressure on hospitals.

It is essential, while waiting for the result of the definite diagnosis, to segregate patients infected with each of these viruses separately and not admitting them in the same ward.

This study aims at identifying differences at the time of presentations from initial investigations to allow appropriate segregation and timely initiation of appropriate treatment of COVID Patients.
