A qualitative research project investigating the barriers to employment and career development experienced by minority workers in film and television, supported by the EU ESF/EQUAL fund and part of the Diversity in Practice project
Key findings
Underrepresented groups in film and television employment (women, ethnic minorities, people with disabilities, people from the UK's regions) identify a wide range of barriers which serve to exclude them from both 'getting in' and 'getting on' in these industries
