Project Details
Description
The Design for Weightlessness project investigates:
-The ways in which design processes have been informed by and constrained by gravity;
-How approaches to design must be revised to account for the weightless environment.
Students across 2 years of undergraduate programmes in design have been involved in primary research contributing to this research project, and have developed designs in response to the project's key findings, working in part with astronauts and other guests from the UK Space Agency and commercial space training facility, Blue Abyss.
