Project Details
Description
The Impact Project builds on the findings of a current study that explored the practice learning experiences of social work and nursing students from Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) backgrounds. It aims to produce and evaluate a toolkit that provides guidance on inclusive supervision strategies for supporting students from BME backgrounds during placements. The project will involve six students who are from BME backgrounds as project workers. They will be supported by the research team, who collaborate with health and social work practitioners that also act as assessors for the students' performance during their placements. Together, they co-produce the toolkit.
