The aim of this project is to create an accessible online educational resource called Disability Sport Info, which will explain various aspects of disability sport to a non-academic audience. Disability Sport Info will include the creation of a website, YouTube videos, and a podcast. Disability Sport Info is currently live in the form of a podcast.

The podcast features academic experts in the field and practitioners to explore various different issues and content related to disability sport. Currently, the podcast has two series: Paralympic Games; grassroots sport.

Key findings

It has now been a year since the first Disability Sport Info podcast episode was published (9th December 2021 is the exact date). In that time (as of 13th December 2022), the following has been achieved:

- 17 episodes published
- 42 countries reached
- 521 downloads from France (biggest market)
- Most downloaded episode: Paralympic Games Legacies & Empowerment (176 downloads)
- Contribution from 16 academics and 1 professional
- Contributors from the UK, Australia, Canada, Sweden, Belgium, Greece.
