Project Details
Description
This project will develop an AI-based chatbot to support AUKH’s over-subscribed Information and Advice service. Co-designed with staff, volunteers, and older adults from AUKH, the chatbot will provide timely, accurate responses to common health and well-being queries about benefits, care, housing, and local services. It will improve service efficiency, boost digital confidence among older
users, and reduce pressure on AUKH workforce, which will improve their overall well-being. This is a pilot, testing phase involving AUKH clients and AUKH staff to ensure usability and safety. Outcomes from the pilot will inform the development of a chatbot supporting a wider range of older individuals with diverse well-being conditions and contribute to a scalable model that other charities can adapt,
laying the foundation for digital transformation at AUKH.
