Description

Multi-disciplinary project awarded a grant to a collaborative team from school of education, business school and human resources to evaluate a pilot course employing a body-driven coaching intervention with middle managers with medically unexplained symptoms. The biofeedback tool 'heartmarth' was employed before and after each of 6 sessions to assess outcomes.

Key findings

Outcomes were positive for participants and will be written up in a per reviwed journal. A new course has been designed and conducted in the Centre for Educational Leadership in school of education as one output. Another a poster at a coaching psychologiy conference
