Enabling the utilisation of research evidence in adult social care: exploring key barriers and facilitators with adult social care practitioners

Project: Research

Project Details

Description

The production and use of research evidence in social care practice can improve the quality of provided care. Yet, we know that there is limited engagement in research and research informed practice in the social care workforce. We will speak with social care practitioners to (a) increase awareness about the value of research evidence and (b) co-design practical guidance to support the use of research evidence in social care practice. Summaries from the workshops will be shared with
participating Councils and will be used to inform the preparation of a research proposal on developing research capacity in social care.
