Welwyn Hatfield Museum Service (WHMS) and UH Arts are applying jointly to this grant to enable us to undertake audience development work, specifically the Audience Agency’s ‘Engaging Local Audiences Starter Pack’ . Audience Agency are one of the leading specialists in audience development within the museum sector and this off the shelf product includes an engagement area profile report, a strategic planning workshop and a summary report which will provide both organisations with an outline of suggested next steps and resources to implement an audience development plan and take forward our community engagement. Without this funding our limited budgets are such that we would not be able to access this specialist information and advice and undertake this action research. WHMS is the lead applicant.
