Enhancing our policy networks, knowledge and reputation in the field of school food provision

Project: Research

Project Details

Description

Funding (£3316.60) to attend the LACA 'Main Event' - the main school food industry conference, and for the printing of business cards/postcards, to hand out at the conference, that will signpost a webpage on our impactful, policy-relevant research and engagement activities in the field of school food provision. The aim is to enhance our policy connections and networks to support the delivery of sustained non-academic impact from our ESRC-remit research in the field of school food provision. The latter includes a newly funded NIHR Application Development Award on food in special schools, and an outline bid submitted to Nuffield on the work-lives of school meals workers, that builds on our Research England ‘participatory research’ funded workshops with school meals workers and the trade union Unison.
