Description
The project aims to support the process of establishing and implementing a variety of Dementia Champion (DC) roles by creating a shared focus, addressing training and development needs and by creating an infrastructure that can support the achievement of dementia strategy linked implementation targets.
Key findings
Findings suggested that if such initiatives are to be sustainable they need to be strategically placed within networks that can bring together service providers, educators and commissioners.
