Description

Ethiopia is the birthplace of coffee, but where and how was coffee first consumed, and what were the routes by which it reached the rest of the world? This film documentary, presented by Francesco Da Mosto, and shot on location in Ethiopia and Somalia, will trace the origins of the Ethiopian Coffee Trade routes, drawing on the knowledge of indigenous residents, Ethiopian researchers and Professor Jonathan Morris, the coffee historian based at the University of Hertfordshire. The award will fund the employment of a script consultant to work with Morris and partners to translate their shared knowledge onto the screen.
