Project Details
Description
Of the limited research available, much of it is of US or Canadian origin. The experience of a woman becoming homeless during her pregnancy alongside her care and support needs are, at present, a vastly under researched topic, particularly within the context of the health and social welfare systems of the UK. The combination of these factors, the changes taking place within current maternity services alongside the struggle within my own service to offer well-informed care provision, prompted the research question ‘what are the experiences of women becoming homeless during their pregnancy in the UK?’.
