Description

There is currently a gaping hole in the academic knowledge of food aid use by older adults, despite knowledge that numbers of users have increased since the pandemic. We do know that stigma and shame are huge issues affecting this population and preventing them accessing support (Slocombe, 2023). This study will map current knowledge and seek to determine the most effective way to collect data in this setting in a sensitive manner that enables older people to tell their story.
