Exploring underserved older male carers experiences of community-based support

This project aims to enhance the well-being of underserved older men (65+) caring for partners living with long-term conditions by improving access to community-based support. Led by University of Hertfordshire, in partnership with Cardiff University and the University of Kent, we will establish an advisory group of older male carers from underserved communities to gain insights into their unique challenges and needs. Their invaluable insights and lived experiences will guide the development of a NIHR research proposal to address the specific needs of this often-overlooked group.
