Description
This project aims to investigate extreme radio flares from young stellar objects (YSOs), using radio and X-ray facilities to study the full context of high-energy phenomena in the early stages of star and planet formation. By examining these flares, the project will help us understand the early stages of stellar activity, magnetic field evolution, and their impact on planet formation. The core of the project is to analyse three innovative observational projects to enable initial modeling of the underlying physics. This research will provide key insights into the similarities and differences between the extreme space weather around YSOs and the Sun, including the potential role of magnetic reconnection and coronal mass ejections in shaping planetary environments.
