Project Details
Description
From smart watches and fitness trackers to drones and self-driving cars, smart technologies and Internet of Things (IoT) are becoming pervasive in our lives. The number of connected devices globally is estimated to exceed 50 billion by 2020, sign of a need to change business models to meet the expectations of future customers.
In this seminar, we will discuss the application of smart technologies in different business sectors such as retail, transportation, energy, and healthcare. We will focus on their value for businesses in terms of process automation, better customer relationship management, increased productivity, energy efficiency, and lowering costs. Moreover, we will provide some instances of successful implementation of smart technologies all over the world.
