Human Brain Project

This is one of Europe's Horizon 2020 Future Emerging Technology Flagship Projects, the Human Brain Project, which started on 1 October 2013, with an intended duration of 10 years. The PI was originally involved through his employment at Sussex University and is now going to continue his work on the project here at UH. UH will become Partner 118 (the coordinator is the ECOLE POLYTECHNIQUE FEDERALE DE LAUSANNE - I do not intend to list all the other 117 partners!). The remainder of the funding obtained by Sussex for the two-year period April 2016 to March 2018 amounts to €73,262 and is being transferred to UH. The PI is in the process of applying for the next tranche of funding, which will cover the period April 2018 to March 2020 (this will be the subject of a separate entry on RIS).
