Project Details
Description
The project is designed to innovate training provision and enhance the appeal of health and social care (H&SC) professions by leveraging virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR) technologies. It will utilize the power of immersive imagery and audio-visuals, employing 3D, true-D, and 360-degree videos enriched with virtual annotations and graphical animations, all embedded within an interactive extended reality (XR) environment. This initiative will transform how information is comprehended and retained, offering a novel learning experience that far surpasses traditional 2D videos. By placing users directly in the professional environment of H&SC workers, the project facilitates a deep understanding of their roles, allowing users to observe and engage with the care process firsthand. This immersive strategy will instil a sense of presence and participation in the collaborative care journey.
