Description

The average age of people on haemodialysis is 66 years old and therefore young adults (18-30) who require haemodialysis in a unit may feel isolated. This study aims to examine how young adults engage with others within the dialysis unit and what factors are important in developing connections and friendships. The second part of the study will be to develop ideas around how to improve interaction. With the goal of developing an intervention to be implemented in a dialysis unit.
