Improving interaction and reducing social isolation in young adults requiring in-centre based haemodialysis treatment - side project to boost recruitment using social media

Project: Research

Project Details

Description

Funding to support recruitment to a study aimed at improving social interaction in young adults requiring haemodialysis to reduce isolation. This extra funding is required to scope and produce 1+ recruitment tools for the study and may include short videos produced for various social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram, posters and any other materials identified in our scope.

The aim is to scope the best methods of recruitment, by discussing with young adults what would engage them to consider participating in research. This will be through brief discussions with the young adult group (Kidney Care UK (KCUK)) and through young adults involved in the study. We will work with UH media students to co-design, film and edit the promotional material.
