The International Working Group on Women and Sport (IWG) is the world’s largest network dedicated to advancing gender equality in sport, physical education and physical activity, with a strategic priority to influence policy and strategy by 2026 through demonstrating the value and impact of systemic gender equality (https://iwgwomenandsport.org/about/iwg-strategic-plan/). Each quadrennial the IWG publishes a Progress Report outlining what has been achieved, and what should be prioritised, to achieve gender equality in and through sport. UH, through Elizabeth Pike, is the lead research partner for the IWG 2022-2026, and will deliver the 2026 Report providing an evidence-based agenda for future activity.
