Invisible Women: Lives Hidden in Plain Sight

Invisible Women is a community oral history project inspired by the growing Codicote Women’s Institute. It will record and share the life stories of around twenty women aged 50–80, many of whom find that their visibility in the community diminishes after retirement or once family responsibilities lessen. The project aims to challenge this assumption by foregrounding their achievements, contributions and perspectives, ensuring that older women’s voices are publicly recognised and valued.
