Project Details
Description
This project is a Knowledge Transfer Partnership between Bespak Europe Ltd. the University of Hertfordshire. The aims of the partnership are to develop and embed expertise for the systematic design, manufacture and characterization of new metered dose inhaler valve technologies. Through a combination of advanced chemometric approaches to product specification assessment data, with thermofluid mechanical engineering, the project will develop a framework for new product development that matches valve design to formulation composition. By applying industrial design-for-manufacture approaches, Bespak will implement design modelling technologies as a routine process, to engineer valve component design to achieve a target product performance.
