Lived Gender

My aim is to elucidate the reasons and alleviate the difficulties of transition perception. I believe this will be best done by broadening the concept of gender so that it encompass not only gender assigned at birth, but what I will call: lived gender. I will do this through a conceptual elucidation of gender and gender identification with the help of Enactivism and Embodiment – philosophical approaches inspired by Wittgenstein that take our ways of acting to be the basis of mentality
