Project Details
Description
Mobility as a Service (MaaS) is a sustainable personal transport offering which enables users to book, pay for and manage for multiple shared modes of transport through smartphone apps. Diffusion of MaaS is desirable because it promises zero carbon transport and fair access to those who cannot afford private cars. However, the transition to MaaS is hindered by the reluctance of transport providers to form networks and market barriers. This research investigates how transport and software providers can establish relationships based on mutual trust and investment as well as joint activities and integrate in networks capable to support MaaS.
