Description
This project is highly innovative and involves development of a new product for the planting of trees in urban spaces, and any improvement in the product including physical testing of it is a crucial part of its development
It is intended to develop a new type of a soil support system. This involves the following objectives:
• To carry out a full research of the existing products on the market, to better understand the strengths and weaknesses of the competition.
• To develop Computer simulation of the products to assess performance, highlighting areas of improvement
• To generate new/ innovative concepts that satisfy all the requirements
• To produce detailed design on a chosen concept, including stress analysis, prototyping and materials testing, to ensure durability of the product
• To optimise the design before manufacturing
