Overview of MUS; TBMA and its embedment in UK NHS
Key findings
95% of participants would recommend the service to friends and family; 97% completed courses; decrease in symptom distress, anxiety/depression; increase in activity, and overall wellbeing. GP capacity increased due to participants no longer needing to visit their GP for their symptoms as self-managing/disappeared, A&E and hospital visits decreased.
The analysis of 39 participants engaged in the service delivery in one county in England (see 'Moving On' article) employed a 'reliable improvement' calculation.
