Microencapsulation for hydrophobic recovery in granular materials

Project: Research

Project Details

Description

This project is to explore proof of concept systems on recovering hydrophobicity in granular materials. Such a function is useful for minimising the risk of failure in ground infrastructure. The proposed solutions aim to mitigate issues around landslides, swelling-shrinkage of soils, erosion and long-term degradation.
