Project Details

Description

A mobile app will be developed to offer an interactive system to track a cyclist’s experience. This system will allow them to examine cyclist wellbeing based on statistical events, enabling the identification of risks and other issues that contribute to safety on the roads; this is potentially actionable data, provided by a community of cyclists going about their daily activities. For example, the app can highlight if the cyclists are passed too close by a vehicle, if there is a road defect and they must adjust to avoid, or areas where they feel ‘unsafe’. Within the app the cyclist can log the incident type, location highlighting ‘hot spots’ for incidents or negative experiences offering the Client the opportunity to assess potential improvements or solutions for the issues.
