Project Details
Description
This project addresses the lack of robust research evidence into the cultural value of folklore in post-Brexit, post-pandemic England. It aims to create new data to answer two key research questions, in a multicultural society: ‘Can areas of belief and practice inform or hinder England’s social, cultural and spiritual identity?’ and ‘does contemporary folklore have a distinctive arc that is not mired in colonial attitudes?’’.
