Project Details
Description
Our chosen team of UK and Thai partners has a strong track record in radio astronomy (including single-dish and interferometric techniques), radio astronomy and communications technology, research training, human capital development (particularly in nations developing radio astronomy capacity) and STEM outreach. There are a number of links between the Thai and UK members of our team: Dr Jaroenjittichai obtained his PhD at Manchester; Dr Asanok was a long term visiting researcher at Manchester; and an MoU exists between NARIT and Manchester University which has resulted in a number of successful PhD students and research collaborations.
