Project Details

Description

A prototype Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR) has been developed following the outbreak of the covid pandemic. The main issues are related to acoustics inside the helmet. These are due to sound transfer from the fan to the ear and/or that the air pipe is causing turbulence/noise due to its position around the top of the visor. This project is to look for noise cancelling solutions. It is funded by research England (UEZ).
