Project Details

Description

This study aims to investigate the relative importance of molecular descriptors including: size, molecular structure and solubility parameter of pharmaceutically and cosmetically acceptable oils on the diffusion of model solutes across barrier membranes. Using mixtures of oils, the mechanisms by which permeation of model permeants are being investigated in order to gain a deeper understanding of how conventional formulation excipients affect drug delivery processes.
