Project Details
Description
As the Project Lead for the Operational Risk & Financial Control MIS Project at Barclays Bank, I oversaw the development of an integrated and comprehensive MIS system for managing operational risks and controlling financial risks across various business units. The project aimed to improve the bank's risk management and financial control capabilities, in response to increasing regulatory expectations and compliance requirements.
The project was divided into several phases, including planning, data collection and integration, risk assessment and analysis, model development and implementation, and reporting and dashboards. We faced challenges dealing with large volumes of data from various sources, developing complex risk models, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
