PHIRST Connect PLUS – catalysing impact from evaluations of local authority health and wellbeing initiatives

We aim to identify and engage with people (e.g., commissioners, service providers, public health agencies, members of the public) who are well-placed to use evaluation research findings from the
NIHR Public Health Intervention Responsive Studies Team (PHIRST) at UH. Topics of UH evaluations include drug and alcohol services, exercise programmes, health champions, and
workplace health and wellbeing support. Through engagement, we aim to support people, agencies and organisations to use our research findings to shape service commissioning and design and/or adapt practice and improve health and wellbeing outcomes. This work will form the foundation of a
REF impact case study.
