Project: Research

Project Details

Description

The growth of green hydrogen capacity in Morocco within the framework of evolving North African-UK and wider European relations is of significance for wider North African influence on the global stage with the context of rising BRICS influence.

Based on a series of interviews with Moroccan representatives carried out in the Summer of 2023 and subsequently with UK and EU representatives in 2024/5, the paper explores the theoretical approaches which might be used to analyse and evaluate this developing field of geo-strategic renewable energy impacts.
