Public and Stakeholder Engagement on Inclusive School Food for Children with SEND

Project: Research

Project Details

Description

The purpose of this project is to engage with public and professional stakeholders about the experiences of school food for children and young people (CYP) with SEND and their parents/carers across mainstream and specialist schools in England. Engagement activities will be used to underpin a future outline application for submission to the Nuffield Foundation in September 2026. This Impact Award will enable us to work with stakeholders to refine our research questions, methods and future plans for engagement and dissemination. The need for this type of empirical policy-relevant research was identified during our work on the NIHR-funded Adapt-Ed study.
