Using Normalisation Process Theory, the research studied CLAHRC-funded projects as case studies to see how PPI activities and processes were embedded into institutional research culture.

Layman's description

Patient and public involvement in health research is a requirement for funding but can also be argued as a public and moral right. This research asked how do existing research practices 'fit' with PPI activities and processes.
