Reuters MIS Data Cube

As an MI & Analytics Transformation Business Data Analyst on the MIS Data Cube project at Reuters Financial Products (RFP), my responsibility was to enhance RFP's financial data analysis capabilities. The project, launched in 1993, aimed to aggregate financial data from various sources and provide clients with powerful and flexible analysis tools. I worked on various work packages and projects as part of the larger MIS Data Cube initiative, which involved multiple interdependent stakeholders, including clients, IT staff, and business leaders.

One of the significant challenges was aggregating data from different sources into a centralized system for efficient report generation. I worked with the project team to develop clear objectives and ensured that milestones were met. To mitigate potential issues, I worked closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and provided data analysis and business intelligence expertise to enable RFP's clients to investigate and respond to trending issues quickly.
